A
programme of five fights will be held at Roscongress Vladivostok Combat Night,
an international mixed martial arts tournament taking place on 5 September in
Vladivostok as part of the sporting programme of the 5th Eastern
Economic Forum.

Thai boxing world champion Alexey Kudin, who has won 24 MMA fights, will face
Dmitry Isachenko, who hails from Primorye Territory and has been winner and
runner-up at Russian boxing tournaments. Another Vladivostok resident, Grigory
Sirenko, has established himself as a promising knockout artist in pankration,
and will face Grigor Grigoryan. Lyubomira Galkina and Polina Kobzeva make their
professional debuts and will have the chance to break into the elite of their
category in the coming years, as well as entering the running for the most
beautiful girls in MMA.
The main
event of the tournament will be the fight between Russia’s Alexander Shlemenko
and the USA’s
Chris Honeycutt. Alexander Shlemenko is a two-time winner of the Grand Prix and
multiple champion of the American Bellator promotion. He has a career record of
58 wins in 70 fights, while Honeycutt has won 11 of his 14 fights. The
tournament was organized by TeleSport Media and the Roscongress Foundation, and
will take place on board the Costa Venezia cruise ship.
