The Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic will present plans for the development of the region until 2035 at the 5th Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok on 46 September. Ministry Head Alexander Kozlov has decided to create a single exhibit for the Ministry and all of the Far Easts development institutions as part of the EEF exhibition.

«The results of the new economic policy as well as plans and a vision for the further development of the Far East for 20252035 will be presented at the Forum. More than a dozen services for investors will be put on display for visitors at a single platform along with a presentation area for the different economic sectors of the regions of the Far East with an assessment of their investment potential» Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic Alexander Krutikov said.

Fifteen basic investor services provided by the development institutions of the Far East will be presented to Forum participants. These include: the selection of optimal measures of state support, the acquisition of a plot of water for the purpose of ocean farming, affordable credit for small and medium-sized businesses, and the acquisition of an electronic visa for the Far East among others.

Some of the new initiatives that will also be presented include a 2% Far Eastern mortgage, a digital forest resource service, and the cataloguing of agricultural land in the Far Eastern Federal District.

«We traditionally organize a presentation zone for the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and our partners for speeches by regional heads along with a separate zone for signing agreements. We have considered requests from the regions following the last EEF and have made it larger and more convenient. The presentation zone programme includes speeches by representatives of development institutions of the Far East and regional heads» Deputy Director General of the Far East Investment and Export Agency Svetlana Balova said.

For the first time, the exhibition will run its own television studio, Far East live, which will run stories related to economic development in the Far East, single subsidy social initiatives and projects, and interviews with EEF participants, including investors and representatives of the federal and regional authorities.

The exhibition will introduce people to investment success stories, platforms for project implementation, and the overall potential of key sectors of the Far East.

Eight federal executive bodies will be represented at the EEF 2019 exhibition: the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, the Federal Agency for Fishery, Rostourism, the Kemerovo Region, and the Prosecutor General of Russia.
