To prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection at
the venues of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021, a number of
measures to ensure epidemiological safety, developed by Rospotrebnadzor, will
be introduced. These measures are related to the sanitary conditions during the
events, access to the venues, catering, sanitizing the premises, and providing
participants and staff with personal protective equipment.
“As we have repeatedly stated, this year the priority
for the SPIEF organizers is the safety and comfort of the participants.
Therefore, when developing epidemiological safety regulations, we were guided
by the principle of reasonable sufficiency. All procedures related to
accreditation and access to the venue meet the recommendations of WHO and
Rospotrebnadzor, while being easy to understand and perform,” noted Head of
Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
In particular,
amendments were made to the procedure of accreditation and access to the venue
for Forum participants, media representatives, staff and volunteers. For
accreditation in your personal web office, you must fill in the information on
whether you have had the coronavirus infection, the presence or absence of
antibodies and the vaccination received. It is recommended that all
participants and staff be vaccinated.
Before
arriving at the Forum venue, it will be required to do a PCR test at one of the
specially deployed testing points – they will be located at Pulkovo Airport, at
the Moskovsky railway station in St. Petersburg and in hotels in the city. You
can do the test starting 1 June, but no later than one day before visiting the
SPIEF 2021 venue. Test results will be valid for the entire duration of the
Forum. The test result will be automatically uploaded to the accreditation
system and, if it is negative, will activate a badge for access to the venue.
Those who
plan to attend the Forum plenary session will need to do an additional PCR test
one day before the event. Foreign participants will also have to undergo PCR
testing 72 hours before crossing the border, and then 24 hours before arriving
at the Forum venue. There is no need for quarantine upon arrival.
Remote thermometry will be used at the Forum venue,
and persons with temperatures above 37.1 will not be able to access the Forum.
Air recirculators and disinfection devices will be installed on the Expoforum
territory. During the Forum, dry and wet cleaning with the use of
disinfectants, sanitizing of contact surfaces and disinfection in conference
rooms will be carried out.
All employees and
volunteers will be provided with personal protective equipment. Forum cars will
undergo special antibacterial treatment after each trip. The passengers will be
seated maintaining a social distance.
Medical stations at the
venue will be provided with the necessary equipment and medicines. There will
be ambulances and resuscitation vehicles, including teams of English-speaking
doctors.

information on COVID-19 prevention measures can be found in the corresponding section on the Forum
website.
