Khabarovsk Territory to Showcase Technological Leadership in the Far East Street

16 August 2022
На «Улице Дальнего Востока» Хабаровский край представит проекты технологического лидерства

The Khabarovsk Territory will showcase its industrial, investment, and tourism potential at the Far East Street exhibition, which will open on 5 September in Vladivostok as part of the EEF 2022. The region will present innovative flagship projects that reflect the spirit of the Far Eastern pioneers.

The exposition of the Khabarovsk Territory will be designed in the hi-tech style using glass, metal, and artificial plants imitating fresh flowers. It is assumed that the multifunctional exhibition pavilion-transformer will work for many years to come and will reflect the special competences of the Territory, which distinguish it among other federal constituents of the Far East. The region’s priorities include high-tech production and innovation that make a significant contribution to the technological independence of the Russian Federation.

An exhibition in the central module will combine several thematic zones: Development Prospects, Industrial Potential, Tourism, and Investment Climate. Information will be presented through interactive video content: touchscreen technologies, modern animation, 3D-visualization, video mapping technologies, animated films, and presentations.

Prospects for the development of the Khabarovsk region visitors will be shown with the help of an interactive table, repeating the outlines of the region on the map of Russia. Visitors could literally touch the flagship projects of the region. Among them are Bolshoi Ussuriysky Island, the Great Embankment, the inter-university campus, the Khekhtsir Sports and Tourism Complex, and the Far Eastern Art Museum.

In the zone dedicated to the industrial potential of the Khabarovsk Territory, an industrial style installation will be organized. Visitors will get acquainted with the key areas of the regional industry: shipbuilding and aircraft construction, as well as the achievements of the leading enterprises. VR booth of SSJ-100 aircraft from Irkut will be open there as well.

Installation with a projection screen will tell about the unique tourist attractions of the region: the high-mountain lake Amut, the Dusse-Alin range, Amur pillars, Sikachi-Alan petroglyphs, Shantar Islands, etc., as well as about promising projects of tourist complexes, which will soon be able to receive first visitors. In turn, the Investment climate zone will feature a multimedia segment, reflecting the key regional investment projects.

A soft zone and lounge area will open in the central module. Here exhibitors will be able to hold short meetings, business negotiations, and sign agreements.

Visitors will be offered to take pictures in the Champions Photo Zone and walk along the Amur Embankment alley, conceptually presenting Khabarovsk’s promising projects. Graphic images will remind visitors about the Second International Tiger Forum (held 5 September 2022), while the performances by local artists, which will take place on the stage area, will delight the audiences.

«The Khabarovsk region is a region that has something to be proud of! As the President of Russia Vladimir Putin emphasizes, „the Far East residents in the broad sense of this word are pioneers, discoverers.“ We have prepared a lot of new formats for you, trying to reflect the spirit of pioneers that the President talks about. I am sure you will spend many interesting and useful minutes getting acquainted with Khabarovsk Territory. But I would recommend you finish this visit on the Amur waterfront. It is especially beautiful in the evening. At the same time, you can enjoy a cultural programme presented on a nearby stage by the region’s best bands. We are waiting for you in the pavilion and, of course, in Khabarovsk Territory itself!» says Mikhail Degtyarev, Governor of Khabarovsk Territory.

The Far East Street will be open on the waterfront of Ajax Bay on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) for guests and participants of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum from 5 to 8 September. After the end of the Forum, it will go on until 11 September. Entrance for residents and guests of Vladivostok and other cities is free.

All real-time news on the preparation for EEF 2022 is available on the official Forum social network accounts.
