General Information

Krasnodar Krai is located in the southwestern part of the North Caucasus, is the southernmost region of Russia and is washed by the Azov and Black Seas. Within the region is the Republic of Adygea.

The region is among the top 10 regions in terms of direct investment, ranks 6th in Russia in GRP and 3rd in housing construction. It is the leader of the Southern Federal District in terms of industrial production.

The dominant economic activities of the region are:

agro-industrial complex;
transport complex;
resorts and tourism;
winemaking;
industry;
construction;
alternative energy sources;
IT and innovation.

The Law On the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Krasnodar Territory until 2030 No. 3930-KZ was adopted at the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly of the Region on December 21, 2018. The presentation version includes the main provisions, factors and indicators of socio-economic development of the Krasnodar Territory.

The main factors of investment attractiveness of the Krasnodar Territory include:

geographically advantageous location in the south of Russia: the territory of the region has direct access to international trade routes to the countries of Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Central Asia;
developed transport infrastructure with a wide range of services and opportunities that allow you to build effective logistics;
a warm climate that helps to reduce the cost of heating and building construction, which allows investors to save at least 20% of the construction cost;
a high level of economic activity of the local population and a dynamically developing business environment;
a large market for sales and highly skilled labor;
unique experience in construction and organization of large-scale projects of international importance, availability of advanced construction technologies and competencies;
an open and stable institutional environment that reliably protects the rights of investors and provides assistance at all stages of the implementation of their projects;
a well-developed credit and financial infrastructure with a wide range of banking and insurance services combined with advanced technologies.

Description of the regional economy

В структуре валового регионального продукта в 2022 г. основными видами экономической деятельности являлись: деятельность по операциям с недвижимым имуществом – 24,4%; транспортировка и хранение – 13,4%;торговля оптовая и розничная; ремонт автотранспортных средств и мотоциклов – 12,9; сельское, лесное хозяйство, охота, рыболовство и рыбоводство – 9,6; обрабатывающие производства – 8,9%.

В объеме инвестиций в основной капитал 54,2% заняли собственные средства, 45,8% – привлеченные средства. Объем финансовых вложений, поступивших в экономику края, составил 7 627 115 млн ₽.

Индекс промышленного производства по сравнению с 2022 г. составил 106,0%, по видам экономической деятельности

«Добыча полезных ископаемых» – 82,3, «Обрабатывающие производства» – 106,9, «Обеспечение электрической энергией, газом и паром; кондиционирование воздуха» –102,2, «Водоснабжение; водоотведение, организация сбора и утилизации отходов, деятельность по ликвидации загрязнений» – 111,0%. В объеме отгруженных товаров собственного производства, выполненных работ и услуг собственными силами по добыче полезных ископаемых край занимает 37 место в России (в федеральном округе – 3), по обрабатывающим производствам – 11 (1), по обеспечению электрической энергией, газом и паром; кондиционированию воздуха – 14 (2), по водоснабжению; водоотведению, организации сбора и утилизации отходов, деятельности по ликвидации загрязнений – 10 (1).

Край характеризуется индустриально-аграрно-рекреационным типом развития.

Важное значение имеют новороссийские цементные заводы. Развит выпуск продукции переработки сельскохозяйственного сырья.

На долю края приходится почти половина производства в стране вина виноградного, заметная часть – масел растительных и их фракций нерафинированных, пятая часть – сахара белого свекловичного или тростникового и химически чистой сахарозы в твердом состоянии без вкусоароматических или красящих добавок.

Для края характерно высокоразвитое сельское хозяйство. В растениеводстве край занимает ведущие позиции по производству основных продуктов (зерна, сахарной свеклы, подсолнечника, фруктов и овощей). В животноводстве наиболее развиты мясомолочное скотоводство, свиноводство, птицеводство, пчеловодство.

Оборот розничной торговли составил 2 537,5 млрд ₽., или 115,6% (в сопоставимых ценах) к 2021 г. По уровню оборота розничной торговли на душу населения край занял 5 место в Российской Федерации. В структуре оборота розничной торговли удельный вес пищевых продуктов, включая напитки, и табачных изделий составил 48,7%, непродовольственных товаров – 51,3%.

Оборот общественного питания составил 125,5 млрд ₽., или 107,9% (в сопоставимых ценах) к 2022 г.

Сальдированный финансовый результат (прибыль минус убыток) деятельности организаций составил 936 138 млн ₽.
