Today, the Togliatti SEZ has 31 residents, of which 13 enterprises are already successfully operating, and several more large-scale production facilities will open this year.
“The Togliatti Special Economic Zone has once again confirmed its effectiveness, the high interest in it from Russian and foreign companies. This is a high assessment of the joint work of the team of the region and our investors, - said Dmitry Bogdanov, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region. - At the end of June, the delegation of the Samara region visited the Republic of Belarus. Governor Dmitry Azarov presented to our Belarusian colleagues the business opportunities of the SEZ, work on major infrastructure projects - a bridge across the Volga and a highway that will become part of the Europe-Western China international transport corridor, as well as the construction of a railway line to the borders of the SEZ. The presentation aroused keen interest from the host side, and in the near future we expect a delegation from a neighboring state on a return visit,” the minister said.
According to the results of work for 2021, the revenue of residents increased by 46% compared to the previous year and amounted to more than 11 billion rubles.
Over the entire period of operation of the investment site, residents have created 2.4 thousand jobs, invested more than 19 billion rubles and transferred more than 3.7 billion rubles of taxes and customs duties to the budgets of different levels.
