The
Roscongress Foundation and the Palestinian Federation of Business Associations
held an agreement signing ceremony in Moscow following the 4th
meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Palestinian Commission on Trade and
Economic Cooperation.
«As part of
the efforts of the Palestinian Federation of Business Associations (PFBA) to
create ties with the international markets in general and with Russia in
particular, we have signed a cooperation agreement with the Roscongress
Foundation that aims to strengthen cooperation between the business communities
in Russia and Palestine with respect to different economic aspects. This
cooperation agreement will take the relationship with Russia to a completely
new level. We will exchange knowledge and information, promote participation in
different economic conferences, and hold a productive dialogue about different
economic and social problems,» Chairman of the PFBA Board Osama Amro said.
The
Roscongress Foundation and the PFBA will provide each other with consulting,
informational, and expert support on economic and social issues and also
establish effective communication between the expert and business communities
of the Russian Federation and the State of Palestine.
«The
agreement with the Palestinian Federation of Business Associations will allow
us to jointly develop communication platforms at the international level and to
stimulate the business communities of our countries to create long-term
partnerships,» Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander
Stuglev said.
In addition,
the agreement states that the parties will help organize and hold congress and
exhibition events such as forums, conferences, roundtables, business meetings,
fairs, and presentations with a focus on energy, economic, and social issues.
