The Russia House, the
official Russian residence in Davos, will open its doors to visitors once again on 2024 January 2020.
«Over the years of its
existence, the Russia House has become an integral part of Davos. The venue has
received a lot of positive feedback and its level of organization has been
repeatedly mentioned by regular participants in major international forums and
conferences. This is an important project that allows us to show off our
countrys hospitality and openness to our foreign partners and their proposals
that aim to develop our cooperation with representatives of the global business
community as well as our countrys trade and economic projects», Adviser to the
Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.
In 2020, the Russia House
programme will focus on three key issues: economic development, digital
transformation, and social projects. Special attention will also be paid to
issues concerning cybersecurity and the development of artificial intelligence.
The business programme will
include the first presentation of the 25th World Energy Congress,
which will be held in St. Petersburg on 2427 October 2022.
«We devote great attention
to preparations for the annual Russia House project in Davos and organize it
according to the highest international requirements and the standards of the
Roscongress Foundation. Members of official delegations, experts, opinion
leaders, representatives of the Russian and foreign business community, and
prominent journalists traditionally take part in the Russia Houses business
programme. In addition, the Russia House is a comfortable venue for meetings
and a dialogue on partnership that helps to build long-term plans for the new
business year,» Roscongress Foundation CEO and Chairman of the Board Alexander
Stuglev said.
In 2019, the Russia House
was not only a traditional meeting place for representatives of the
international business community and officials, but also served as a prominent
discussion platform on the Davos map with a distinct format and image. Over the
five days it was open, the official Russian residence received over 1,500
guests from 70 countries. More than 150 media representatives worked at the
site. All business discussions were broadcast live on the official websites and
the official social media accounts of the Russia House and the Roscongress
Foundation. Photos from the Russia House are always available online in the Roscongress
Photo Bank.
Alexander Ivlev, Managing
Partner for the CIS at EY and a regular participant in the World Economic
Forum, pointed out the importance of the Russia House project for Russia: «The
Russian agenda in Davos remains relevant. Russia is part of the global economy
and one of the key players in the world. Russia has a presence at the World
Economic Forum in Davos. This is important both for our country and for the
entire international community.»
Next year, the Russia House
will once again attract the attention of representatives of the international
business community and official circles, showcase Russias business
opportunities and investment projects, and demonstrate Russias rich culture
and traditions in the international arena.
