On 19 March, RK-Investment Investment Promotion Foundation represented by Director Alexander Shatirov and Suchan-Ugol LLC represented by General Director Evgeni Teslenko signed a consulting services agreement for the project Suchan-Ugol Industrial Coal and Logistics Cluster. The General Director of the Chinese company Heilongjiang Interstandard Coal Mining Equipment Co., Ltd Mr. Zhuang Yenong attended the signing ceremony.
Suchan-Ugol is a resident of Vladivostok Free Port, which took on a 25 billion rouble project to create and further operate an industrial, coal chemical and logistics cluster in the Primorye Territory. The investment project stipulates for several stages.
Under the Agreement, experts of the RK-Investment Investment Promotion Foundation are to provide consulting services starting this March, including analysing potential government support measures available for the project.
«We are to provide Suchan-Ugol with comprehensive support including coordination with federal and regional development institutes and public organisations. Our experts are to study the investment potential of the project, develop a financial model, assist in attracting investments and further support the project implementation», comments Alexander Shatirov, Director of RK-Investment Foundation.
Evgeni Teslenko, General Director of Suchan-Ugol noted that the project outperforms the scheduled implementation pace. «We plan to start mining coal in Tsentralnaya mine in three years. Raising additional investments is to enable us to implement our project in the shortest time possible, and in the coming years, we are to make a significant contribution to the economic development of our region and the entire Far East. I am confident that the consulting services of RK-Investment specialists are to help us find the best solutions for the implementation of the project to create a coal and logistics cluster of international standards.»
