20 September 2018
В рамках IV Восточного экономического форума впервые состоялась специальная программа «Территория инноваций»

The Start-up Lounge project became an important part of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum Programme. The project’s main agenda was the development of entrepreneurship in Russia and the nation’s digital economy.

It included a series of business sessions with representatives of Russian and international investors, executives from Rusnano, VEB Innovations, the Far East High Technologies Fund, the Far East Development Fund, the Skolkovo Foundation, Generation S (RBK), and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra Development Fund, all of whom got to know more about projects selected from over 100 candidates from Russia, the CIS, and Asia. The Project’s General Partner was the Zhuhai and Macao Tsinghua Redbud Alumni Association, to which many Chinese tech company executives belong. The following start-ups received investment offers:

Bystrye slony (Fast Elephants) — a smartphone-based remote employee management system (for couriers and courier vehicles, cargo transport centres and vehicles, maintenance engineers, trade representatives, etc.) for optimizing business processes across distributed teams.

TransLomPererabotka (part of the Translom group) — a company implementing industrial waste processing ecotechnopark construction projects in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra and the Republic of Tatarstan and developing safe pipeline dismantlement and metal-bearing materials processing technologies.

Travelchain — a decentralized smart data system for the travel market. It aims to help companies better understand their clients’ preferences and let travellers get personalized offers from commercial companies.

Bartini — an autonomous electrical aircraft with vertical take-off and landing, which is being designed, with the help of blockchain, to serve as a mass market air taxi with the development of an ecosystem of urban air taxi ‘heliports’, which can help solve urban transport problems in the future.

These companies are currently in negotiations with investors.

The Start-up Lounge saw the signing of several agreements, including a technology partnership between the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra Development Fund and Universe, in which Universa will provide its blockchain platform for the implementation of an investment management project. The Russian Export Center signed a four-party agreement with the Republic of Udmurtia, the Republic of Udmurtia Development Corporation, and the REC Export School. The agreement will allow the implementation of the Export Growth Accelerator programme, which is intended to create favourable conditions for the export business and to further educate regional enterprises about the available systematic government support measures for foreign trade.

The Start-up Lounge was created to support Russian start-ups in their search for investors, partners, and exporters.
