Alexander Novak Held a Meeting of Russian Energy Week 2022 Organizing Committee

The Russian Energy Week 2022 Organizing Committee held a working meeting in Moscow. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Alexander Novak presided over the meeting. 
“This will be the fifth Russian Energy Week. This Forum is a landmark event for both Russian and global fuel and energy complex. This event brings together leading representatives of the industry, as it aims to address the most pressing matters of the global energy industry. Last year, 2,500 guests and delegates from over 80 countries attended the Forum. This year, we also expect participants from dozens of countries. As of today, the Forum business programme includes 37 events covering various topics on the agenda,” noted Alexander Novak. 
Russian Energy Week 2022 will include discussions of the development of the electric power, oil and gas, chemical, gas and coal industries, as well as topics related to import substitution, digital transformation, the energy transition and the situation around climate issues. The main events of the programme are scheduled for 12 and 13 October, in particular, the plenary session of REW 2022 will be held on the first day of the Forum, while 14 October will be the Youth Day. The Forum will take place at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. 
Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and executive Secretary of REW 2022 Anton Kobyakov said, “The current situation on the energy markets driven by modern challenges makes it especially important for leading industry representatives to get together, share opinions and forecasts regarding the future of the energy industry and find compromise for the most pressing issues.” 
The Russian Energy Week International Forum is one of the key platforms for discussing the main development trends of the modern fuel and energy industry. The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with support from the Government of Moscow.
