25 April 2022
Опубликована архитектура деловой программы Х Петербургского международного юридического форума

The programme for the event will be made up of eight thematic pillars:

· Law, business, and sanctions

· People and law

· Law in international relations

· Digital transformation

· Control, oversight, and regulation

· Justice and litigation

· The environment

· Legal science and education

Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko commented that the extensive business programme for SPILF 22 will incorporate a range of topics for discussion which will be of interest and benefit to legal specialists across a wide range of fields.

«The mission of the Forum is to support international-level dialogue on the modernization of law in the interests of people and society. In the current geopolitical context, it is the legal field which must play a key role in drafting impactful solutions in response to today’s pressing challenges. And that is precisely why guests at the Forum will focus on such crucial topics as the correlation between law and morality; using law to counteract extreme right-wing ideologies and movements such as Naziism and fascism; justification for the use of force, and disarmament as one of the principles of international law. We also plan to discuss the revitalization of legal culture and socioeconomic regulation in the context of global shifts,» Chuychenko said.

«Attempts to identify tools to shore up economic growth in light of external constraints, legal support for international trade, and improving labour policy in the country are just three of the many topics which will come under discussion at this year’s Forum. We are seeing enormous interest from legal specialists across various fields in engaging in dialogue,» said Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.

The anniversary edition of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will open on 28 June with the International Youth Legal Forum.

The 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will take place from 29 June to 1 July 2022 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre. This will be the first edition of the event in two years to be held in its usual offline format, and will bring together leading law specialists from a range of fields, public figures, thought leaders, and journalists.
