«Zhiguli Valley» once again confirmed its effectiveness - the technopark entered the top three regional Skolkovo operators, becoming the laureate of the Skolkovo Regions Awards. This became known on April 20, during the conference «Skolkovo Regions. Sources of Innovation in the Regions».
«Zhiguli Valley» is one of the leading investment sites in the region. Here, residents are assisted at all stages of the implementation of their projects. Governor Dmitry Azarov pays special attention to creating comfortable conditions for the development of technological and innovative entrepreneurship. A favorable business climate in the region is being formed as part of the implementation of the national projects «Small and Medium Enterprises».
In total, 27 operators from Russian regions took part in the rating. «Zhiguli Valley» received the status of a regional operator in 2018 and annually increases the number of Skolkovo residents in the Samara Region.
«The high appraisal of the technopark's activity is the result of the daily, systematic work of the regional government and the management company of the «Zhiguli Valley». On one platform, we have combined all the tools for the development of high-tech projects, innovative start-ups and continue to expand these opportunities. Today, residents of the technopark can apply for the status of a Skolkovo resident, support from federal development institutions, use the services provided by the technopark itself, - said Dmitry Bogdanov, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region. - More than 260 companies are already implementing their projects, being inside the innovation ecosystem, receiving support, exchanging experience with colleagues, seeking advice from experts. The comprehensive work that is being done at the regional level allows novice innovators and technology entrepreneurs to bring their products to the market faster and find their customers».
Today, the technopark continues to unpack and promote new cases of industrial interaction. The partners of the «Zhiguli Valley» are representatives of regional and federal support infrastructures, the largest enterprises in the region, leading universities and research centers of the Samara region, Moscow and St. Petersburg, financial institutions, business development and support institutions, international companies, technology parks in Russia and abroad.
