Exhibition ‘Under the Venetian Sky: Vedute of the 18th Century from the Intesa Sanpaolo Collection’

A unique exhibition ‘Under the Venetian Sky: Vedute of the 18th Century from the Intesa Sanpaolo Collection’ will open on 2 September for Vladivostok residents and visitors, as well as for Forum participants. The exhibition is part of the cultural programme of the 6th Eastern Economic Forum.

The exhibition is organized by Primorye State Art Gallery together with Banca Intesa and Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. Visitors will get a chance to enjoy four paintings by outstanding artists — Canaletto, Francesco Guardi, Michele Marieschi and Hendrik Frans van Lint. These paintings are property of Intesa Sanpaolo and are among the most important ones in its collection of Venetian art. The Palazzo Leoni Montanari in Vicenza is home to the collection.

Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov and First Vice Governor of Primorye Vera Shcherbina will speak at the opening ceremony. Pasquale Terracciano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Russian Federation, and Michele Coppola, Executive Director for Art, Culture and Heritage of Intesa Sanpaolo, will join the ceremony via video conferencing. Antonio Fallico, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Intesa and President of the Conoscere Eurasia Association, will make a speech at the end.

A special online broadcast in Russian will be available on the official websites of the Conoscere Eurasia Association (conoscereeurasia.it) and the Roscongress Foundation (roscongress.org).
