Summer Motor Fest to Showcase Unique Cars at SPIEF 2021

31 May 2021
Летний автомотофестиваль «ДвижОк» представит уникальные автомобили на ПМЭФ-2021

Summer Motor Fest will be operating a stand at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre Pavilion G from 2 to 5 June. Forum participants will be shown three extraordinary projects, all of which promise to be gamechangers in the automotive industry.

The popular automotive blogger Konstantin Zarutsky (AcademeG) will personally unveil the Pobeda-Ultratank, created especially for Summer Motor Fest. The body of the legendary Soviet automobile has been installed on a modular tracked platform, resulting in a vehicle unique in both appearance and performance. The vehicle can drive on low-pressure surfaces, swamps, and sand as well as public roads without causing harm to the road surface. The platform’s capabilities make it the fastest tracked vehicle in the world, officially reaching a speed of 130 km/h with an engine power of 400 hp.

Meanwhile, the BR03 race car can accelerate to an even more impressive 310 km/h. The most powerful racing car in Russian circuit racing, the BR03 was created by Boris Rotenberg’s BR Engineering Russian design bureau in collaboration with the SMP Racing team with the support of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). Despite its outstanding performance capabilities, BR03 remains suitable for professionals and amateurs alike: it is a rare example of a powerful care capable of comfortably accommodating a person of almost any size in the driver’s seat. The car is distinguished by speed, ease of handling, excellent range of vision, and affordability relative to its closest competitors. Its Russian designers and engineers were especially focussed on reliability and safety. The promising Russian Le Mans entry will likewise be on show at the Summer Motor Fest stand.

The third exhibit to be featured is the RF7-Electric electric sports kart, developed for young drivers as part of the ambitious project. The organizer, F7 AutoMotorsport Academy, presented its first mini-kart two years ago at SPIEF 2019. Since then, the project has come a long way and reached an agreement for Russian electric racing karts to be produced together with specialists from the Italian BabyRace racing team with the support of Rosatom State Corporation.

Summer Motor Fest exhibitors will also take part in SPIEF 2021’s main business programme. On 3 June, Konstantin Zarutsky will speak at the “Are Bloggers the New Media?” session, where he will be joined for discussion by Gazprom-Media Holding JSC General Director Alexander Zharov, Esquire Russia Editor-in-Chief Sergey Minaev, CTC Media General Director Vyacheslav Murugov, and Comedy Club Production Founder Artur Janibekyan among other key media players. The discussion will be moderated by journalist and TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak.

Summer Motor Fest is taking place on 30 July – 1 August at the friendly venue of ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre, where visitors will be treated to a car and accessories manufacturer exhibition, extreme shows, test drives, Motorcycle Gymkhana, and performances by top bloggers and musicians. Speed and adrenaline seekers will even have the opportunity to experience high-speed manoeuvring competitions in their own cars.

Summer Motor Fest is being organized by RC-Media, ExpoForum International, the Interregional Contact Centre, and Velgutsgarage.
