Participants in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021 can install the Insight application for free, which enables them to communicate by transferring contacts using QR codes. The latest versions of the app are already available in the AppStore and PlayMarket.
This is a year when we should be valuing comfort in our communications and taking care of our digital hygiene. With this in mind, the Forum organizers have prepared an unconventional solution for participants — a QR network that allows them to communicate with an unprecedented level of data security and exchange their contacts without handing out business cards. The latter is particularly important given the current epidemiological situation.
The platform is based on perfect direct secrecy principles. This involves local encryption on user devices, end-to-end traffic encryption, and other technical solutions, all the way down to protecting the device from being yanked out of your hand. In addition, you do not have to provide personal information such as an email address or phone number to register with Insight.
This is the biggest advantage for SPIEF participants — they can exchange contacts via QR codes without being bound to providing any sensitive information. Text messaging as well as audio and video conferencing are available on the platform. Users communicate with each other in a trusted network of contacts.

It’s no secret that numerous IT products use user data to monetize. This is not the case with Insight.
