Roscongress Foundation becomes Made in Russia general partner

3 July 2020
Фонд Росконгресс стал генеральным партнером бренда «Сделано в России»

The Roscongress Foundation and the national Made in Russia brand have announced a new stage in their partnership, marking a step forward in the development of cultural, humanitarian, and trade and economic ties between the two parties.

The Roscongress Foundation has joined the project as general partner. By pooling their resources, the two parties will be able to significantly expand their capabilities for supporting and promoting Russian businesses, producers and exporters already operating abroad, as well as those who are in the process of expanding into foreign markets.

The Made in Russia project audience has grown by 20% since the beginning of 2020 and now stands at 50,000 readers in nine languages. Partnering with the Roscongress Foundation will grow the audience through the promotion of Made in Russia media to partners and participants at major convention and exhibition events in Russia.

The partners previously agreed to join forces and work together on the RCBusiness and Made in Russia platforms.

“Despite the fact that the vast majority of convention and exhibition events set to take place in 2020 have been postponed, the Roscongress Foundation continues to operate a large number of projects in the digital space and, most importantly, retains one of the largest networks of business and government contacts in the world. Developing the partnership with our colleagues from Made in Russia means we can launch new products that will help us to communicate electronically with our partners, as well as providing additional communication channels to boost business activity,” said CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev.

“Our key task at present is to scale the Made in Russia project and, first and foremost, its audience. Partnering with the Roscongress Foundation will allow us to double the project’s audience and significantly broaden its international network of contacts, helping us to attract potential partners and buyers of Russian goods and services for all business representatives actively participating in and supporting the project. Furthermore, we are now readying the launch of several services to facilitate the development of our compatriots living abroad and their involvement in cultural, humanitarian, and trade and economic ties with Russia’s partner countries,” said Mikhail Sadchenkov, General Director of the Made in Russia project.

The Roscongress Foundation has become the third general partner of the project, following Otkritie FC Bank and AFK Sistema. The project previously received support from the Moscow Export Center, with the announcement of a joint programme to subsidize exporters participating in the project.
