24–26 July 2020 the Roscongress Foundation
will hold the Science Fest. This time around the festival is trying a new
format that combines online broadcasts with a virtual exhibition of hi-tech
projects. Science Fest is an international event dedicated to science and
innovation that aims to support young researchers, inventors, and technological
start-ups.
Additionally, at the threshold of the
festival Roscongress TV YouTube channel will start uploading videos dedicated to Russian hi-tech start-ups.
Furthermore, Innovators
2020 will provide additional coverage for the event. The
channel will focus on charismatic interesting personalities and entrepreneurs,
who create breakthrough technologies that change the world.
“The Roscongress Foundation has long been committed
to developing innovation in Russia by providing young projects a possibility to
present their investment potential in front of the audience made up by
government, corporations, investment funds, and business angels. The Foundation
has two crucial initiatives that push this agenda forward: Innovation Space
project and Business Priority competition. This new reality only reaffirmed
that we are on the right track. We see incredible demand for new technology in
information transfer and group work, thus we made highly technological
communication means a part of the very foundation of the Science Fest. I am
confident the festival is to become Russia’s most significant event in the
innovation field,” said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman and CEO of the Roscongress
Foundation.
The two-day programme of the festival will
include an online conference, panel discussions, seminars, TED-talks, online
underground concert, innovation carousel, and many other interactive
communication formats. This will allow all participants – both those in the
venue and observing online – to fully enjoy this unique event.
The festival will be broadcast via all
Roscongress Foundation’s online resources, including Roscongress TV YouTube
channel, official website and social networks, as well as information partners
resources.
Festival’s key element is the Innovative Map
that will bring together inventive practices and hi-tech projects from all over
Russia. Every participant of the virtual exhibition will be able to present
their project via a 3D model, designs, video or photos. The project will
continue the line of work started by Innovation Space, present on all
Roscongress events since 2018.
