The Russia–Africa Economic Forum has been named one of the five
finalists of the SABRE
EMEA Awards 2020 in the Multicultural Marketing nomination. The
shortlist was put together by a 68-member jury from over 2,400 applications
across 15 categories.
The
prestigious SABRE EMEA Awards were inaugurated in 2000 to recognize
achievements in public relations. Their focus is on companies that demonstrate
excellence in strategic planning, creativity, and obtaining results in
business.
The
Russia–Africa Economic Forum was a unique event
in 2019. It brought together 6,000 people, including official representatives
from all 54 African nations, with 45 being represented by heads of state and
government. The Forum was also attended by media representatives from 105
countries.
The event
operator was the Roscongress Foundation, with the Ministry of Finance of the
Russian Federation acting as organizer.
