The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM of Russia) awarded medals For cooperation between rescue services to the Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Armen Khachatryan and Advisor to the Director of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Nadezhda Sinitsyna.
On
18 December, a plenary meeting was held at Smolny Palace in St. Petersburg as
part of an event that brought together the leaders of the regional offices of EMERCOM.
At the event the work was assessed of the regional subsystem of the unified
state system for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of the northwestern
region of Russia in 2019 and targets were set for 2020. The meeting was
attended by Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Governor of Leningrad
Region Alexander Drozdenko, State Secretary and Deputy Head of EMERCOM Alexey
Serko, members of the Government of St. Petersburg, heads of the constituent
agencies of the Northwestern Federal District, the leadership and staff of the
main departments of EMERCOM in the Northwestern Federal District, and the heads
of a number of committees and departments working in this area. To wrap up the
event, a government and department award ceremony was held.

of Russia dated 6 December 2010, the medal For cooperation between rescue
services is awarded to staff members of EMERCOM and citizens for their work in
strengthening cooperation between rescue services, their long-term and
successful work in civil defense,
protecting the population and regions from natural and man-made emergencies,
ensuring fire safety and the safety of people at large bodies of water, and providing
substantial assistance to EMERCOM in the implementation of its goals and
objectives.
