On 21 October 2019, a business breakfast was held at the Foreign
Investment Advisory Council in Russia (FIAC). The breakfast was attended by
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, Minister
of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, and the heads
of international member companies of the Council.
During the event, the FIAC members were invited to participate in the
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held on 3-6 June
2020, and the Russian House events in Davos.
The members of the Foreign Investment Advisory Council in Russia regularly
attend major Russian business events such as the St. Petersburg International
Economic Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian Energy Week and others.
The Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC) was established in 1994. The primary objective of the Council is to facilitate efforts in Russia to create a favourable investment climate by replicating successful international experience and the experience of international companies in Russia. The Council, headed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, includes 53 international companies and a bank. The FIAC holds regular working groups to discuss key sectors of the Russian economy.
