Italian Renaissance artist Sandro Botticellis painting Madonna della Loggia
can be viewed by participants and guests at the 5th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on 46 September. This marks the first time that the painting from the Uffizi
Gallerys collection in Florence has been brought to Russia.
The exhibition where the painting is displayed is being held with the participation
of the Italian Embassy in Moscow, in cooperation with the Uffizi Gallery, and
with the support of PAO Sberbank and Roscongress Foundation.
The painting will be displayed at the Sberbank office (Building A, Level
6, FEFU) on 35 September and will then be available for everyone to
view in the Main Hall of the Primorsky State Art Gallery after 8 September.
In addition, EEF guests and participants can view modern Madonnas at the exhibition titled Female Images in Contemporary Painting by Artists of the Far Eastern Federal District. Madonnas of the Far East. The exhibition includes the work of artists from the Far East with a focus on female images. In its own way, each painting reveals the spirit and culture of its region and describes the traditions of the indigenous population. The exhibition will be presented in cooperation with the Primorsky State Art Gallery and held with the support of the governors of all regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.
During the Forum, the exhibition will be on display in the gallery between Buildings A and C of Far Eastern Federal University. Following the EEF, residents of Vladivostok will be able to view the exhibition at the Primorsky State Art Gallery.
