The EAEU’s largest business forum will be held in Kyrgyzstan

The 4th Intentional Forum Eurasian Week 2019 will be held in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, from 25 to 27 September with the support of the Roscongress Foundation. The corresponding decision was taken at the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the event. Ala-Archa, State Residence No. 1, where major economic and political events of Kyrgyzstan take place, has been selected as the venue of the forum.

According to the organizers, this year the slogan of the forum will be: «EAEU: Consolidation. Development. Strength».

«The agenda of the 4th International Forum Eurasian Week is dedicated to discussing the results of the five years of the Union’s existence and identifying new integration vectors, developing cooperation with Eastern foreign partners and creating export opportunities, as well as developing measures to decrease exposure to the global economic volatility», Veronika Nikishina, a member of the Trade Board (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 4th International Forum Eurasian Week, noted.

The forum program envisions setting up more than 20 spaces for three blocks. Such blocks include the strategy track comprising the key and prospective lines of the EAEU development. The partner track is for discussing practical business issues related to major industries that are of critical importance for Kyrgyzstan and the EAEU. Within the framework of the youth track, an EAEU Young Leader School event, a session with the presentation of EAEU universities, a business game and a session on employment issues will be organized.

This year invitations to the forum have been sent to Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mher Grigoryan, Vice Premier of the Republic of Armenia, Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhenish Razakov, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Anton Siluanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation — Minister of Finance, Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as representatives of the business and expert community.

An exhibition dedicated to agriculture and food industry to be held during Eurasian Week 2019 will become one of the highlights of the forum. Not only experienced manufacturers willing to share their competence are invited to take part in the exhibition, but also companies that are currently in search of business solutions.

We would like to remind that this is the fourth year that the International Exhibition Forum Eurasian Week is held. As previous years show, the forum has become the major business event and a venue for free opinion sharing for representatives of the business community, state agencies and expert community of the EAEU states and other countries.

The Forum aims at sharing the opportunities and potential of the EAEU countries on an international scale to develop a methodology and to build up the global economy in cooperation. The Forum promotes the development of direct B2B contacts and the engagement of third-country companies as prospective consumers and investors to create competitive and export-oriented products.
