Росконгресс и Гонконгский международный арбитражный центр договорились о сотрудничестве

The Roscongress Foundation and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre signed an agreement on cooperation at the Eastern Economic Forum.

The document was signed by Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation, and Sarah Grimmer, Secretary-General of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Fund.

The parties agreed on cooperation in a number of key areas, including the development of common communication platforms on the international level; development of partnerships between representatives of business communities of the two countries; facilitating the dialogue between the Parties on issues of cooperation in the investment and financial sphere, export-import operations, as well as in the area of tourism and cultural interaction; informational cooperation, consulting, information and expert support on key issues of the economic and social agenda.

Active work will start immediately after the Eastern Economic Forum. The Roscongress Foundation organized a visit of the Hong Kong delegation of the Better Hong Kong Foundation to Russia on 22–27 September 2018. Businessmen and investors from Hong Kong will visit Moscow and St. Petersburg to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, meet with the heads of economic government agencies of Russia, and hold talks on business projects with representatives of Russian business community.

A small time gap between the Eastern Economic Forum 2018 and the visit of the delegation will play a positive role in the planning of cooperation. The results of the Forum will contain a significant amount of important large-scale business projects, as well as comprehensive analysis of the Russian economy development trends.

The planned meeting with Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of St. Petersburg, will provide the Hong Kong delegation with all the possible information on business cooperation with St. Petersburg.

The programme of the meetings also includes a considerable number of provisional negotiations on cooperation with the heads of major Russian companies. At these meetings, business executives and investors from Hong Kong will be offered modern, forward-looking business projects that will contribute to the economic development of our countries and will seriously improve the overall international political situation.

The delegation’s visit will provide an efficient start for the systematic development of partnership relations between Hong Kong and Russia.
