On 5 and 6 July the International CybesecurityCongress 2018 (ICC) organized by PAO Sberbank with the support of the
Roscongress Foundation, ANO Digital Economy and the Association of Russian
Banks, will take place in the Congress Centre of the World Trade Centre in
Moscow. The Congress is to become an international and cross-sector platform
that provides for a global dialogue between government officials, world
business leaders and key experts on the most critical and pressing issues of
cybersecurity in the context of globalization and digitalization.

have the chance to make the transitional world safer? moderated by the former
Founding Editor-in-chief of WIRED UK David
Rowan, are the central events of the business programme of the
International Cybersecurity Congress.
Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation
Anton Kobyakov noted the importance of the International Cybersecurity
Congress. «Essential cybersecurity
developers, key industry decision makers and those shaping the future of the
world will come together for the first time in Russia. I am confident that
regular meetings of this format are to contribute to a deeper analysis of
issues in this area and the search for their solutions.»
Representatives of the federal government of the
Russian Federation, executives of major Russian and international companies,
vendors of cybersecurity products and services, as well as acknowledged
cybersecurity experts will take part in panel sessions of the Congress. Among
the key topics of the event are the fight against organized cybercrime, cyber
risks in the era of digital transformation, strategies for identifying and
securing confidential information, with special priority given to the block
chain and information security technologies, as well as fake news and its
reasons.

years, the growth of cybercrime has become one of the major global risks,» said Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the
Executive Board of Sberbank. «We are
certain that a successful fight against cybercrime is subject to effective
international governmental and private economic cooperation, as well as the joint
efforts of law enforcement agencies. Sberbank has initiated the platform that
is to help pool forces to counter cybercrime and give a new momentum to global
cooperation in this area.»
Over 1,000 industry experts are expected to attend
the International Cybersecurity Congress.
