Over 3,000 participants from more than 70 foreign countries have confirmed their presence at the 5th Russian Energy Week International Forum. The level of participants announced makes REW a unique international platform for dialogue between industry professionals, government officials and business.

The business programme of the Forum will consist of more than 40 events, and REW will culminate with Youth Day, in which the Russian society ‘Znanie’ will co-host a panel discussion. The educational organization is acting in partnership with the main organizers of the Youth Day of the Forum: the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation, the Moscow City Government and Nadezhnaya Smena Charity Foundation.

«The Russian society ‘Znanie’ is a partner of REW and has co-organized this year’s plenary session as part of the Youth Day of the Forum. This platform will open up opportunities for direct communication between young people and top decision-makers. Participants will not only have an opportunity to personally communicate with government officials and heads of leading companies in the fuel and energy sector but will also be able to share their ideas and projects. This will allow them to move from the ‘just an idea’ stage to its practical implementation, thus getting closer to their dreams,» said Maxim Dreval, General Director, Russian society ‘Znanie’.

At the Youth Day panel discussion, experts will exchange experiences and ideas on Russia’s fuel and energy sector. Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, will discuss key global energy issues with experts and participants. He will participate in the discussion, and will personally announce the winners of the industry’s competitions. For example, the winning teams of Youth Global Energy Outlook, and the winners of the Oil Industry IT Championship, the All-Russian Olympiad for school children by the Rosseti Group, and the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship.

In addition, the Russian society ‘Znanie’ will launch the Energy of Knowledge podcast studio at the Forum venue. In a live broadcast at the educational organization’s studio, invited guests will discuss the prospects for the development of the world’s energy industry. The podcasts will be hosted by Vladimir Arkhireisky and Alevtina Penkalskaya, while the guest list includes leading experts and analysts of the fuel and energy sector.

The Russian society ‘Znanie’ has also created multimedia content, in the form of a series of infographics. They are dedicated to the development of the fuel and energy sector and the prospects for international cooperation. The videos will be available not only on digital surfaces in the Forum’s business programme halls, but also in broadcasts on the Forum’s official website before the start of the relevant business programme sessions, as well as in broadcasts on the official online resources of the Russian society ‘Znanie’.
