The Russian—Korea Business Forum will take place 22 June 2018 in Moscow as a part of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in’s visit. The Korean International Trade Association (KITA), the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Roscongress Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation are the organizers of the event.
At the Forum representatives of the Russian and South Korean official, business and expert circles will discuss: measures to increase trade between Russia and the Republic of Korea; ‘Nine Bridges of Cooperation’ proposed by the President of the Republic of Korea at the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2017 in Vladivostok and their role in strengthening economic ties between the two countries; development of investment potential and new opportunities for South Korean business in Russia; cooperation between Russia, the Republic of Korea and the DPRK in transportation and logistics.
Business Contacts Exchange is also one of the events of the Forum, where business representatives of the two countries can network and discuss cooperation issues.
