The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will participate in the Far East Street exhibition, which will begin in the capital of Primorye on 5 September. Russia’s largest region will demonstrate priority development projects, tourist products, local goods, and the peculiarities of national colour.

The Yakutia exposition will consist of the main pavilion, a trade hall, as well as a stage. Traditional national elements reminiscent of the Lena Pillars will be used in the design of the exhibition space, and the interior solutions will reflect the climatic characteristics of the region.

The volumetric map of the Republic of Sakha will present major industrial and investment projects. It includes infrastructure optimization, aiming to provide healthy and balanced nutrition to the region’s residents, as well as initiatives of partner companies.

In 2022 the region celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Yakut Autonomous Socialist Soviet Republic, an important date of great political, social, and historical significance. The zone dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Yakut ASSR will present the key projects timed to the anniversary date.

Visitors to the pavilion will be able to get acquainted with the tourism potential of the Republic in the Visit Yakutia area. Today the region has more than 300 unique tourist products. Existing itineraries are constantly transformed, responding to new trends and demands of tourists.

Additionally, a fair of products of Yakut producers will be held. Everyone will be able to buy a piece of Yakutia memorabilia and enjoy the original culture of the region. During the daytime, the audience will be offered master classes by Yakut craftsmen and various concerts. Evening programme will feature screenings of Yakut cinema, a phenomenon of the national film industry.

«The year 2022 is special for us: we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut ASSR. The century-long history of the Republic is an amazing feat of generations of Yakut people who transformed these boundless harsh lands. Today, we are setting goals for moving forward in the coming century. Yakutia is already one of the strategically important regions of Russia, an economic, scientific, and educational centre of the Arctic and the Far East. The Republic is among the top ten leaders in the country in terms of economic growth rates. The goal we are moving towards is the development of Yakutia as a centre of attraction of talents and knowledge, a centre of new technologies and new industry, a place for self-fulfilment of every person. See you at the pavilion of Yakutia!» noted the Governor of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolayev.

«Far East Street» exhibition will be open to visitors and participants of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum on the quay of the Ajax Bay at the campus territory of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) from 5 to 8 September.
