27 June 2022
Соблюдение баланса публичных и частных интересов в условиях экстерриториального регулирования обсудят в рамках сессии ПМЮФ-2022

On 29 June 2022 at 16:45, the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will host a session entitled ‘Balancing Public and Private Interests Amidst Mutual Limitations’.

The event will focus on ensuring basic guarantees for the government, businesses and citizens enshrined in national and international law, in particular the inviolability of property, permanence of agreement and freedom of economic activity under the current international agenda.

Among other things, the session will discuss the possibility of creating a new frame of reference for regulating relations under the ‘new normal’, as well as its content and constraints designed to regulate it in a balanced way.

«In the situation when restrictive measures change the law, the government and lawyers need to keep clear rules for all market players. They must be stable, predictable and realistic,» emphasized Andrey Loginov, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.

The session participants will include Vladislav Starzhenetsky, Associate Professor, Faculty of Law, National Research University Higher School of Economics; Zhanna Sedova, General Director, Enel Russia; Alexey Vasiliev, Deputy Head of the Legal Department, Russian Railways; and Valery Eremenko, Partner, Co-Head of Litigation Practice, Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners.
