Более 100 зарубежных молодых лидеров и предпринимателей Friends for Leadership примут участие в ПМЭФ

With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will once again open its doors to the representatives of the Friends for Leadership (FFL) international community of next generation leaders and entrepreneurs, who have been working on the platforms of the Roscongress Foundation since 2018. This year, SPIEF traditionally invited over 100 young leaders from 42 countries of the CIS, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe, to participate at the Forum.

Over the several days of work during the SPIEF, FFL program delegates will take part in a number of Forum sessions and hold series of their own events together with Rossotrudnichestvo, Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow, All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation, Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Higher School of Economics and other partners to discuss and develop innovative and social projects from the portfolio of the Friends for Leadership participants.

FFL will have a busy schedule of working meetings and strategic sessions on the implementation of their projects in Russia and the world, as well as holding open discussions about the views of young leaders on the most pressing issues on the global economic agenda, including food security, digital cooperation, the implementation of scientific and student exchanges, cultural and humanitarian initiatives and promoting the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The work of international youth delegates at SPIEF will continue efforts to promote multilateral economic and humanitarian projects, which started in 2018, when FFL representatives first united at SPIEF. Many projects will help attract new popular ideas and technologies to Russia and other countries. In addition, the participants will discuss and plan to hold a series of further events with foreign partners at foreign venues using the resources and capabilities of the FFL, the Roscongress Foundation, the Center for International Promotion, Government of Moscow and Rossotrudnichestvo, which traditionally acts as a partner in FFL’s participation at SPIEF as part of the New Generation program, ensuring the participation of 70 delegates at the forum.

It is expected that following the results of the work of the FFL delegation, roadmaps for the joint implementation of participants’ projects will be developed, a number of cooperation agreements will be signed and new international initiatives for Russian and foreign youth will be announced.

All real-time news on the preparation for SPIEF 2022 is available on the official Forum social network accounts.
