In times of global changes, when it is particularly acute to protect ones national interests, it is very important to stay within the law. This will be the main theme of the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum to be held from 29 June to 1 July at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The theme of the plenary session will be Law In A Multipolar World.
«In todays multipolar world, law must become the basis of progress and a source of regeneration for the entire international community, while retaining its primary purpose of ensuring order and equilibrium. That is why it is so important today to stay within the law and have a dialogue within legal boundaries, while keeping in mind the fundamental legal values of justice, equality, and expediency, the rule of law and consolidation of statehood», stresses Konstantin Chuychenko, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.
«Leading legal experts will discuss the most important issues facing the country in recent times. The key objective of the event is to find solutions contributing to the modernization of law and the development of legal relations, taking into account the current international agenda», notes Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Executive Secretary of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
The forums business programme covers six thematic areas, each of which will consider a wide range of the most pressing and topical legal issues, trends in the development of the legal system, and law enforcement practice.
