The business programme for the International Beverage Producers’ Forum has been published. The event is set to take place on 26–28 April 2022 at VDNH’s pavilion 55.
The Forum will showcase a range of industries, including beer, cider, mead, perry, dairy, and wine. An extensive business programme has been drawn up, incorporating 11 panel discussions, master classes, and seminars over the three days of the event. Attendees will include experts specializing in the industry and production techniques, scientists, and government representatives.
The business programme will focus on supporting and unlocking Russia’s potential in the sector, developing competitive products on both the domestic and international markets, and addressing issues encountered by beverage producers. The current situation with regards the beverage industry, equipment, ingredients, and materials will come under discussion, as will prospects for development. The event will also examine measures in place to support the Russian agricultural industry and producers of low‑alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. Key topics for discussion will include intellectual property in the beverage industry, prospects for development in the craft beer industry during sanctions, replacing imports with domestic alternatives, sanitation, ways to reduce production costs, growth prospects for the packaging industry, and digital transformation with regards to government requirements in the alcohol industry. Participants will also consider the industry’s state of readiness in terms of labelling, the experience of retail chains, and the process of coupling record‑keeping systems with the universal transport module for Russia’s integrated government automated information system.
The International Beverage Producers’ Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the National Union of Beer and Beverage Producers.
