The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is one of the biggest events in its field, and provides a platform to discuss current issues related to law, as well as trends in the development of legislation and law-enforcement practice. As in previous years, St. Petersburg State University is helping in preparations for the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, including by acting as organizer for the International Youth Legal Forum.
«It is a key government objective to integrate young people in major events of national importance. We are delighted that the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum has once again provided a platform for dialogue of this kind. The Forum enables specialists of all levels and fields to come together to share their views and form new initiatives, which can in turn help improve quality of life,» said Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.
The International Youth Legal Forum will take place on 28 June — the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. The event will bring together young legal specialists, as well as representatives of public bodies, academia, and business from Russia and abroad.
«Organized by the university, the International Youth Legal Forum has been running for a year longer than the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, and is a key satellite event. We are delighted that on this anniversary year for the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, young legal specialists will also have the chance to meet with participants of the main event and discuss trends concerning the development of legal institutions in the new reality,» said Nikolay Kropachev, Rector of St. Petersburg State University and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will take place from 29 June to 1 July 2022 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre. This will be the first edition of the event in two years to be held in its usual offline format, and will bring together leading law specialists from a range of fields, public figures, thought leaders, and journalists.
