The award ceremony for the winners of the My Country My Russia nationwide contest for youth regional development projects will take place at SPIEF 2022.
In 2022, the all-Russian educational project My Country My Russia celebrated its 19th anniversary. This is a striking example of an initiative launched by the civil society has been widely spread in Russian regions among young people, and has found support from federal authorities, local government and the expert community. This season of the contest is being held as part of the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
As of 2019, the contest was included in the list of projects of the Russia Land of Opportunity platform, created at the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The contest nominations cover almost the entire spectrum of socio-economic development of Russian territories.

The main organizers of the contest are Russia Land of Opportunity and My Country, the Scientific and Methodological Centre for Development and Support of Educational and Socio-Economic Programmes and Projects. The contest is held with the direct support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Russian Academy of Education, the Russian Historical Society Association, Fund History of the Fatherland and Russian Znanie Society. Contest nominations are supported by relevant partners of federal executive authorities, businesses and social organizations.
The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on 1518 June 2022.
