Cooperation of St. Petersburg State University of Economics with the Roscongress Foundation At The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum: Results and Prospects

Outcomes of the VI Eastern Economic Forum.

SPIEF 2021 is the first large-scale convention since the start of the pandemic. The forum that brings together heads of government and business leaders, scientists and experts, marks the recovery of the economy and the restart of integration processes. The world has changed. What this ‘new normal’ will be depends on us.

This issue of Open to the World, a special edition produced by the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB), describes recent trends in sustainable territorial development, enumerates actions to be done in order to preserve the environment, and tells the readers about ecological projects and green technologies in Russia. Also, in this publication the Russian Convention Bureau introduces regional passports, a new product that it has developed, and presents a summary of the passport of Kamchatka Territory as an example.

The aim of this report prepared by UNIDO is to define a theoretical framework to support an ‘integrated cluster’ approach involving agri-food, tourism and the creative industries, which could be replicated in different geographical contexts.
