The main goal of the dialogue was to increase the trade turnover of the Samara region with India, the fifth largest economy in the world, to strengthen interaction within the framework of investment cooperation, to discuss mechanisms for working under sanctions restrictions, and to expand interaction between the economies of the regions.

The event was attended by Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara Region Mikhail Mamonov, Vice President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suren Vardanyan, Deputy Chairman of the Commission for Foreign Economic Cooperation with Partners in India of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Manish Kumar, Head of the Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region region Andrey Gorshenin. Rustam Ilingin, Head of the Investment Promotion Department of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Samara Region, told the guests about the investment attractiveness of the region, mechanisms of interaction with investors and support measures.

The event was attended by representatives of Indian companies, as well as more than 20 enterprises of the Samara region interested in developing foreign economic activity, establishing partnerships with Indian companies, and searching for alternative suppliers of products.

As a result of the online meeting, contacts were exchanged, and preliminary agreements on further cooperation were outlined.
