This became known at a meeting of the headquarters for improving the sustainability of the regional economy, which was held by the Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov.
In connection with the introduction of external sanctions, on behalf of the Head of the region, the relevant ministries have prepared a list of companies that meet the federal criteria of backbone. 24 companies were submitted for consideration by the federal authorities.
Six companies have already been included in the federal list (FSOP): EPK Samara OJSC, Instrument Bearing Plant, Arkonik SMZ JSC, Srednevolzhsky Bearing Plant, Stan-Samara and Damol Association of Dairy Producers.
PJSC UEC-Kuznetsov, Aviaagregat, Metallist-Samara, JSC Salyut and Kurumoch International Airport were automatically included in the list, as they are part of the holdings already included in the FSOP.
The next wave with a high probability in the FSOP will include UK DSK-group LLC, Polad JSC and the Tarasov plant.
For ten applicants, the issue has not yet been resolved - applications are under consideration in the federal ministries. «All announced enterprises are important, and we need to speed up on all of them», – Dmitry Azarov emphasized.
It should be noted that two years ago, during the spread of COVID-19, 20 Samara companies were included in the FSOP, including AvtoVAZ, Evrotekhnika, RCC Progress, TYAZHMASH and others.
Russia's backbone companies can take advantage of the government's anti-crisis package, as well as subsidies for cost recovery.
