The Roscongress Foundation together
with the Russian Export Center will promote Russian products under the national
brand ‘Made in Russia’ at major business forums in Russia and abroad organized
by the Foundation. The relevant Promotion Programme for the period until 2030
was approved by Order No. 450-r of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 26
February 2025
and will be implemented within the framework of achieving the national goal
‘Sustainable and Dynamic Economy’ defined by Decree No. 309 of the President of
the Russian Federation dated 7 May 2024 ‘On National Development Goals of the
Russian Federation for the Period until 2030 and in the Perspective until
2036’.
“Russian
products are of great interest to foreign partners today. The successes of our
manufacturers are annually presented at the St. Petersburg International
Economic Forum, Eastern Economic Forum, Russian Energy Week, and other congress
and exhibition events in Russia, as well as events with Russia’s participation
in other countries. In this regard, the work of trade missions abroad, which
monitor the situation in the markets of potential importers and prepare the
ground for the entry of our exporters into foreign markets, is of great
importance. Due to the constant increase in the volume of non-commodity exports
and the orientation of our economy towards increasing supply and creating
conditions for the growth of domestic demand, such sectors as agro-industrial
complex, metallurgy, IT-industry and others, receive an additional export
advantage. Thanks in part to this, Russia is now emerging as a leader and is
beginning to strengthen its position in a number of emerging markets, finding
new partners more quickly,” noted Anton Kobyakov,
Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
The main
objectives of the Programme include improving the international competitiveness
of Russian products, increasing the volume of non-commodity non-energy exports,
and promoting Russian products in target markets. The Russian Ministry of
Industry and Trade will coordinate the Programme within the framework of the
National Project ‘International Cooperation and Export’, while the Russian
Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) will be responsible for its main support and
implementation functions. The ‘Made in Russia’ programme, which includes a
voluntary certification system of the same name and support for the ‘Made in
Russia’ national brand, is implemented by the Russian Export Center together
with the Roscongress Foundation.
“Promotion under the national brand ‘Made in Russia’
allows companies to expand their sales channels abroad, find new clients and
customers, and gain a foothold in new foreign markets. REC and the programme’s
partners hold unique events and promotions in Russia and abroad, attract
opinion leaders and use other effective tools that help build the confidence of
foreign consumers in Russian products and help businesses develop exports. This
support is already used by thousands of large, small and medium-sized
enterprises from all over Russia,” said Veronika Nikishina, General Director of REC.
The
programme will be implemented within the framework of international exhibition
and fair events held in target markets, where it is planned to organize a
collective exhibition under the national brand ‘Made in Russia’, and a set of
events aimed at initiating foreign trade deals and promoting Russian products
abroad.
In
addition, international business missions and other events, including forums,
conventions, festivals, fairs, cultural and sporting events, will be organized
to promote Russian products of the national brand. Advertising and information
campaigns will also be conducted to increase the recognizability of ‘Made in
Russia’ brand products.
Promotion
of products under the Programme approved by the Government of the Russian
Federation will be carried out on a priority basis for products with quality
characteristics confirmed by the receipt by export-oriented companies of the
conformity mark of the ‘Made in Russia’ voluntary certification system.
The
programme will be attended by federal executive authorities and executive
authorities of Russian regions, the Russian Export Center, the Agency for
Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects, the National Priorities
Autonomous Nonprofit Organization, the Roscongress Foundation, the Directorate
of the ‘Russia’ Achievements Exhibition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs, the All-Russian Public Organization ‘Delovaya Rossiya’, and the
All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises OPORA
RUSSIA.
