Registration of participants for the Drug Security Forum
has opened at the Forum official website. The Forum will be held for the first
time and will take place on 2 June, the opening day of the St. Petersburg
International Economic Forum. The event is organized by the Roscongress
Foundation and the Content Foundation for the Development of Expert and
Analytical Activity, with the support of the Subcommittee on Drug Distribution
and Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the State Duma
Healthcare Committee. The Forum’s motto is ‘Science and Technology for Health’.
«The past year strongly emphasized the importance of
the uninterrupted operation of the pharmaceutical industry. Today we can state
with confidence that we have coped with the tasks set, we promptly reorganized
to work under the new conditions and provided people with medicines to the
extent required. At the Drug Security Forum, the expert community will share
their experience of working during the pandemic and outline an action plan for
the further development of the industry,» noted Alexander Petrov, Chair of the Subcommittee
on the Drug Distribution and the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry
of the State Duma Healthcare Committee.
The Forum business programme covers key issues related
to ensuring drug security and operation of the pharmaceutical industry. At the
event, participants will discuss the evolution of the drug procurement system,
centralization of the drug reimbursement system, drug pricing strategies,
digitalization of the healthcare industry and other relevant topics.
