The Roscongress Foundation and The European House – Ambrosetti signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen and develop economic ties between Russia and Italy. The flagship event of The European House – Ambrosetti is the forum entitled ‘Intelligence on the World, Europe, and Italy’ that has been held in Cernobbio on Lake Como since 1975. It is one of the world’s most important annual economic discussion platforms.
The parties agreed to hold joint business events to help develop interregional cooperation and economic ties. The parties also intend to collaborate in expert and analytical activity and to help promote innovation and advance technological solutions in both countries.

Strong economic, cultural and humanitarian ties and an intensive dialogue between our countries facilitate active cooperation in various fields. The Roscongress Foundation helps strengthen and develop bilateral and interregional relations through business events and expert and analytical activity shared with our Italian partners. During SPIEF 2016, the Italian Republic enjoyed the status of guest country: a large delegation led by the Italian Prime Minister participated in the Forum, and Italy opened a massive pavilion. Every year, SPIEF hosts the Russia–Italy business dialogue that brings in officials and business leaders from both countries.
