Moscow Capital Club, based in the Central House of Writers, has hosted the very first Club Auto Forum, which took place to mark the International Day of Charity. The event was co-organized by RCSport (the Roscongress Foundation’s sporting platform), the Roscongress Sport Club, and the Future of the Motherland Foundation.

“This is not only about the inauguration of the Club Auto Forum, but the first public event by RC-Sport. A new tradition of holding club events has now been established at this leading venue – the Central House of Writers. In the very best traditions of the Roscongress Foundation, this event has brought together motor sport, business, art, and charity. This is the first club meeting since the start of the pandemic, and shows the desire for people to hold face-to-face discussions once again, as well as to promote new ideas. There is a willingness to get initiatives up and running again, many of which had already established themselves as sporting traditions during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. A great many business representatives from abroad have alsojoined the event via videolink,” said Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation Georgy Bryusov.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic Mikhail Khomich moderated the business session, which featured speeches by Kyuri Usmanov, President of the Future of the Motherland Foundation and Head of the Monaco–SPIEF Rally; Dmitry Ovchinnikov, General Director of the Ladoga Trophy; Alexander Terentiev, Head of the Leningrad Rally; and Alexander Zalogin, Director of Avilon – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ official dealer in Russia. Renowned racing driver Alexey Vasiliev also demonstrated the cup he won at the historic Monte Carlo vintage rally (the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique).

Joining the event via videolink were Mike Bruschi, member of the Government of San Marino; Bernard d’Alessandri, head of Yacht Club de Monaco; Leonardo Corbucci, CEO of Rimini Airport; and Hidetoshi Azuma, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan and participant at a UN conference on cybersecurity. The evening’s guests also included the popular film actor Steven Seagal.

Actor and television presenter Valdis Pelšs hosted a charity action which was organized with the support of the Our Heritage Gallery. Guests at the Club Auto Forum also had the opportunity to view paintings by Evgenia Vasilieva, who works under the pseudonym EVA. The work on display had not previously been exhibited in Russia. In addition, a performance by the Open Planet symphony orchestra further helped create a special atmosphere during the evening.
