The Roscongress Foundation and the Delphi Economic Forum signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening economic relations between Russia and Greece. The Delphi Economic Forum is a key economic forum in Greece and one of the most prestigious such events in the Balkan Peninsula. In addition to their presence in Greece, the organization has representative offices in Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Cyprus.
The parties agreed to hold joint business events in Russia and Greece in the interest of developing interregional cooperation and cultural and historical ties. As part of the implementation of this memorandum, the parties also plan to conduct joint topical expert and analytical research and facilitate the advancement of innovations and cutting-edge technical solutions between the two countries.

Our countries are working together to develop a number of economic sectors. Interregional cooperation is an important factor in strengthening trade and economic ties and industrial cooperation. Currently, businesses are also working on developing an agenda, actively helping stabilize the situation and normalize economic cooperation, which undoubtedly plays a significant role in the effectiveness of an uninterrupted dialogue. The Roscongress Foundation has actively facilitated the strengthening and development of business relations with Greece for many years now,» noted Roscongress Foundation CEO and Chairman of the Board Alexander Stuglev.
The Hellenic Republic held the prestigious status of guest country at SPIEF 2015.
The joint cooperation, now strengthened by the Memorandum of Understanding between the Roscongress Foundation and TIF HELEXPO, Greece’s national entity for organizing exhibitions, was initially developed through events such as the ‘Greek-Eurasian Economic Forum: A New Bridge for Cooperation and Development,’ held in September 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece at TIF HELEXPO’s Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Centre.
The SPIEF 2018 business programme also included the Russia—Greece Business Dialogue, which featured the participation of official representatives and business circles from the two countries.
