The Russian Convention
Bureau with the support of the Roscongress Foundation will hold a talk show on
using regional potential to overcome the crisis and restore the economy
efficiently as exemplified by the sector that has suffered most heavily because
of the COVID-19 pandemic — the convention and exhibition industry.
Regions represented by speakers rank so high in the
Russian Regions Event Potential Rating 2019 for a reason. Of course, it’s the
result of a well-balanced policy and reasonable development strategy of the
region, as well as some efforts of the local authorities aimed at supporting
this area. Heads of Investment Promotion Agencies of the Sverdlovsk Region, the
Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Tatarstan will tell the audience how a
synergy of business and government finds its way in the current situation, and
which reserves of the past will help to enter a new stage of development in the
future.
The regional potential comprehensively described in
the Event Passport should become a platform for restoration and economic
‘rehabilitation’ of territories. In the framework of the talk show new Event
Passports created for two regions — the Sverdlovsk Region and the Krasnodar
Territory — will be presented. Also, speakers will share on which areas will
turn into key vectors for revival of the sector.

face in the context of a complicated economic situation?
