The Roscongress Foundation launched a series
of video blogs that involve the Foundation’s international partners. They will address
business support measures and provide insight into economic environment around
the globe. Roscongress will post the experts’ video blogs on all its online
resources. The first episodes will review existing practices in France, Germany,
and China.
Crisis relief measures mainly target saving
national economies. Governments of most countries adopt comprehensive programmes
to support business and face enormous expenses. Thus, France allocates over 15%
of its GDP, China — 6.6%, and Germany — almost 5%.
Pavel Shinsky, General Director of the
French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will
look into the six key measures France has put into effect to support business. Klaus
Mangold, Russia’s Honorary Counsel for Baden-Württemberg, regular participant
of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and one of Roscongress’ key
partners will speak about existing initiatives in Germany. Zhou Liqun, Chairman
of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia will focus on the effect
the novel coronavirus will have on the economic cooperation between Russia and
China.
