Russian
President Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the
autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Strategic Initiatives in Moscow.
As part of the meeting, Putin also visited an exhibition area that ASI
organized for its key focuses education, medicine as well as urban and
technological development at one of the sites that was used to present the
Roscongress Foundations social platform.
The
Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation,
participated in the ASI event in an effort to continue successful cooperation
in the implementation of joint projects. For example, the Roscongress
Foundations Building Trust Area site that was held
at the last Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok featured a discussion about
supporting youth entrepreneurship as one of the key factors in developing the
countrys economy. The discussion was also attended by ASI General Director
Svetlana Chupsheva, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Vadim
Zhivulin, and Roscongress Foundation Deputy CEO and Innosocium Foundation Director
Elena Marinina, among others.
In
addition to experts, the discussion was attended by the winners of the
DevService hackathon, which was organized by the Innosocium Foundation together
with the ASI in August this year. The hackathon is a competition that allows
young programmers, designers, and other IT professionals to create a new joint
project. The overall goal of the event was to create a unified platform to
simplify business processes for young entrepreneurs.
«Our
country is full of proactive and talented people who are essentially the
locomotives of positive economic and social changes. In this regard, it is
particularly important to utilize all opportunities in order to get young people
from all regions of Russia as involved as possible in socially significant
projects and various technological initiatives. Events like the DevService
hackathon, which was organized by the Innosocium Foundation, the social
platform of the Roscongress Foundation, together with the ASI, are a great
confirmation of this», Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.
«We
conducted an analysis of measures used to support young entrepreneurs in Russia
and abroad, which revealed how inconsistent and cumbersome they are. To solve
this problem, we carried out a hackathon, a joint project of the Innosocium Foundation,
the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation and the ASI», said Pyotr
Merkhaliyev, one of the winners of the hackathon.
«The
key objective is to create a sustainable platform for big business and the
social sector to interact as part of the Roscongress Foundations largest
business events in Russia and to support the most significant social
initiatives in our country. We pay special attention to working with young
people and supporting youth entrepreneurship, so we are very pleased that we
were able to launch several joint projects with the ASI. A few months ago at
the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, we had the idea to support a hackathon
initiated by a youth group at the ASI. We brought together the winners of the
hackathon from all over our country just two weeks ago at the Eastern Economic
Forum in Vladivostok, where we held several successful sessions», Marinina
said.
