The General Prosecutor’s Office of the
Russian Federation will open its own interactive space for the first time at
the 5th Eastern
Economic Forum in Vladivostok on 4–6 September. On
each of the three days of the Forum, the General Prosecutor’s Office will
have its own activity network as part of its stand. It intends to hold thematic
sessions together with experts in the field and discuss protection of the
rights of residents of priority socio-economic development areas and Free Port
Vladivostok, problems of administrative and official pressure on business, ways
to counter corruption in the business sector, development of digital
technologies for optimising collaboration between the Prosecutor’s Office and
the corporate sector. The Russian General Prosecutor’s stand will
provide a space for signing a number of international agreements between heads
of Russian and overseas prosecutor’s offices.
All the
discussions and the signing of the co-operation programmes will be open to EEF
2019 visitors. In addition, online broadcasting is planned on the EFIR
departmental interactive video-services (Efir.genproc.gov.ru).
Always open at
the RF General Prosecutor’s stand will
be an on-site reception office for entrepreneurs. Anyone who wishes may submit
an official complaint to the prosecutor’s agencies
directly at the Forum.
As part of the
EEF 2019 business programme on 5 September, General Prosecutor of the RF Yuri
Chaika will speak at the session “Improvement of
the national jurisdiction and protection of investors’ rights”. The session will
touch on use of global experience for raising investment from overseas, protection
of intellectual property, application of legal incentives to return capital to
the country, effectiveness and accessibility of preferences and benefits for
the business community.
Representatives
of supervisory agencies from other countries are also expected to attend EEF
2019.
