More than 40 countries have announced they will be participating in the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit in Yekaterinburg on 9–11 July. The organiser of GMIS-2019 is the Roscongress Foundation. The largest delegations are expected to come from such countries as the United Arab Emirates, China, Germany, Austria, the United States, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, and India.
More than 2,000 people are expected to take part in the event, including Russian and foreign officials, CEOs of major companies as well as leading experts and scientists who specialize in industrial production.
From Russia, the event will be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Dmitry Kozak, Maxim Akimov, and Yury Borisov, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov as well as 11 heads of Russia’s regions.
Foreign guests at the GMIS will include Mubadala Development Company CEO and Managing Director Khaldoon Khalifa Al-Mubarak, Minister of Industries and National Production of Venezuela Tareck Zaidan El Aissami, Minister of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al Mazrouei, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation CEO Mohammed Al Hammadi, Cambodian Minister of Industry and Handicraft Cham Prasidh, Senaat Holding Corporation CEO Jamal Salem Al-Dhaheri, and Chief of Staff of the United Nations Global Compact Melissa Powell, among others.
