Технологические компании представили свои разработки в рамках Российско-Сингапурского бизнес-диалога

A business mission of Russian enterprises visited Singapore on 2629 March 2019. The mission was organized by the Russia-Singapore Business Council and the Radio-Electronic Cluster of Rostec State Corporation with the support of the Roscongress Foundation and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation. The leaders of Russian enterprises visited Singaporean companies that are interested in cooperation and exchanged experience in ways to organize innovative business.

The anchor event of the business mission was the 4th Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue, which brought together more than 100 representatives of business, government, public organizations, and the media.

The Roscongress Foundation and the Russia-Singapore Business Council signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the Forum.

«Russia and Singapore are ramping up an intergovernmental dialogue. Active negotiations are under way to conclude an agreement on a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and Singapore. Our bilateral turnover and mutual investments are steadily growing. We are working on developing new areas of cooperation in the interests of both countries. The agreement underscores the interest in consistently strengthening Russian-Singaporean relations as well as further developing the bilateral dialogue at various international platforms», Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.

The Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue participants discussed cooperation and presented their projects in such areas as the radio-electronic industry, healthcare, and information technologies.

The main event of the forum was the presentation of an integrated solution — the RSTrade and CamelONE platforms — created by the companies Trading House RSDS and vCargo Cloud. The first platform brings together manufacturers and buyers of products from 22 countries, while the second one unites companies that provide international transport logistics services from 15 countries. The union of platform services forms a new economic space, making it possible to simplify trade between companies from different countries. Now product orders and the identification of foreign economic services, primarily logistics, can be carried out in the format of an electronic exchange.

The Forum business programme also featured presentations of solutions by the holdings Shvabe, Ruselectronics, the Avtomatika Concern, the Sozvezdie Concern, Vega Scientific Research Institute, Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, and other Russian, Singaporean, and international companies. Projects were also presented in such areas as medical devices and equipment as well as multispectral computer vision for the protection of infrastructure facilities.

«Rostec is one of the key drivers for the development of cooperation between Russian companies and our partners from the countries of Southeast Asia. The Russia-Singapore Business Council functions with our support, and the Centre for the Foreign Promotion of Russian High-Tech Companies has opened», Russia-Singapore Business Council Chairman and Rostec State Corporation Deputy CEO Nikolay Volobuev said. «Today, about 500 Russian companies and their representative offices have already opened in Singapore. One of the key priorities of our work in the near future will be to develop cooperation between Russian and Singaporean companies. This includes the joint development of products and solutions, localization, and technology transfer».

The event participants will be able to continue their dialogue on developing cooperation between Russia and Singapore in the innovation business at the St. Petersburg International Economic and Eastern Economic Forum.
