Russian President Vladimir Putin
will pay a state visit to Bishkek on 28 March, Presidential Press Secretary
Dmitry Peskov said. «The negotiations that we are expecting are the most
important thing. There will be a wide range of issues concerning bilateral
relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, issues related to EurAsEC integration
processes as well as international issues», he said.
The 8th Russian-Kyrgyz
Interregional Conference New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and
Integration in Bishkek on 2728 March has been timed to the Russian
presidents visit. The conference is being organized by the Russian Ministry of
Economic Development and the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic with
the support of the Roscongress Foundation.
The conference participants will discuss integration
potential within the Eurasian Economic Union, cooperation on digital issues,
the development of agribusiness taking into account transport and logistics
potential as well as the development of investment and financial cooperation
for the two countries.
The 8th Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference New Horizons for
Strategic Partnership and Integration is expected to be attended by more than 800 delegates, including
high-ranking officials from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, business representatives,
public figures, experts, and opinion leaders.
