A ceremony to mark the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Roscongress Foundation and ADC Forum (Australian Davos Connection Ltd), an independent not-for-profit organization which brings together leaders from business, the public sector, academia, and journalists for a dialogue on key problems affecting Australia, took place on 6 September at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The agreement was signed by Roscongress Foundation Director Alexander Stuglev and ADC Forum CEO Anton Roux.
The document will help to strengthen a dialogue and mutual understanding and develop initiatives and platforms for interaction between business, expert, and political communities of Australia and the Russian Federation.
“We agreed to provide mutual consultation, information, and expert support, organize high-profile sessions, and exchange delegations as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok as well as key events organized by the ADC Forum in Australia”, Stuglev said.
“The ADC Forum and the Roscongress Foundation intend to explore opportunities for cooperation in the business, expert, and political sectors of Australia and Russia. We hope that our joint activities will contribute to the economic and industrial development of the Asia-Pacific region, which will help solve a number of global problems and support a multifaceted cultural exchange in our dynamically developing region”, Roux said.
